don’t think about dieting – treat yourself to nourishment!

In addition to yesterday’s post, the bit I forgot to say was that my mindset has had another shift, and that’s made a huge difference! I’ve never been a fan of the D word (diet!) but even less so now.  I now seldom feel like I’m depriving myself of anything, I feel like I’m looking on it as a challenge to treat myself to as much nourishment as I possibly can! I now think of less nutritionally dense foods as rather pointless. The short term pleasure gained from eating them is far outweighed by the knowledge that I’ll be healthier without them, or at least I’m doing my odds a favour in that respect!
